Life entrusts you with multiple roles but the count down for my most awaited role of being a Father had begun. @Cargosol employees “Happiness Quotient” is important. I had spoken to my manager for leave as I wished to be physically present by the side of my wife and let go my few entitled leaves.
Next day, on 15th October ‘2019 my happiness quotient just leaped and bounced. My HR Manager informed me that our Dubai Office CEO would like to meet me in the conference room. As I entered with mixed emotions not knowing the reason, I was handed over an envelope which mentioned “Gift of 360 Hours”.
He mentioned with a warm smile that you are the first employee to avail the “Paternity Leave Policy” in which you can avail additional 15 days paid leave.
While I shared this, to my wife and other members of family they were delighted.
Life gives surprises but some surprises are to be cherished.
