He wasn’t bright nor academically inclined, so he wisely channeled all his efforts in honing his passion into profession. Driving exhilarated and liberated his soul. However, destiny had other plans. He had to learn and sail through handling various jobs like welding, fabrication, loading container stuffing and so on. But his belief was “Mein jo kaam kar sakta hoon, mein kar hi leta hoon. Mein kabhi na nahi bolta”. (Whatever work I can do, I do it. I don’t say “No”)
Soon, he realized the satisfaction he derived from being around vehicles is unmatchable to any other job. Uttam chased his passion yet again and took up as personal driver with us at Cargosol. But seeing his potential, intense passion and abundant knowledge about trucks and container movements we made him in-charge of two 40-ft trucks.
From there on, Uttam and Cargosol had no looking back, there has only been growth- from being a driver to now managing drivers and vehicle movements, his career graph has only been moving upwards.
Uttam’s frequent dialogue “Koi kaam dil se kare, toh success milna hi hai” (Any work done from the heart, will guarantee success). Uttam states he started off with a passion to drive – and we, at Cargosol paved way to accomplish his dream. There is no stop in your growth at Cargosol, we cannot wait to see what transpires further.
